The edge treatment is the profile on the edges of your doors and drawer fronts.  These selections are optional.  Some profiles are consistent with the overall style of cabinet and look "right" together, others we will try to suggest alternatives, but it is always your choice.             

Example:  you might not want to select edge style 703 with a "Shaker" style door.
